Private Jet Sharing Aviation Legal?
itschrisk asked:
What is the legality of a private jet owner, share holder or jet card member charging a second traveler to jump on board? Secondly, could the first traveler advertise his or her trip as a scheduled flight for the purpose of cost sharing. In this case, would the host become liable for any legal complications, if so is there insurance for this or is there any other way to defer liability to the operator?
Thanks!

If the owner doesn’t have their commercial certificate then you cannot charge people for your services as a pilot. You can share the operating costs though. Not sure about the legalities involved if they do hold their commercial though.
